The Indonesian Mining industry has grown in leaps and bounds in the last 20 years. No sector epitomizes this growth more than the coal industry which has now become the world's biggest exporter of steaming coal.
However the rapid unprecedented growth has stretched the resources within the industry to almost breaking point and this has created the need for greater professionalism and quality of performance for coal mine development from inception through to production.
A well defined geological model, innovative and thoughtful mine planning, safe, well managed operations, and the careful systematic recovery of coal should be the requirements of any mine.
On year 2021 PT. SUMA ENERGI INVESTAMA GRUP was established with main aim to supply a super quality product of coal which delivered from enhancing professionalism and environment soundness.

MARKETING ASPECTS
PT. SUMA ENERGI INVESTAMA GROUP has a professional marketing team to communicate with the coal suppliers and buyers as business partners. SUMA’s marketing strategy in 2021 was as follows:
1. Periodically conducted reviews on current sales and work plan with the production and port capacity to identify problems and initiate improvements.
2. Developed market niche for heavy equipment and coal, build market intelligent , and found the right strategy and guidelines for market diversification.
3. Developed pricing and market strategies to ensure production capacity meets sales plan and market conditions, and implement quality and pricing strategies to guarantee the Company gets the best price or slightly above the ICI Index (Indonesian Coal Index).
4. Developed strategies and guidelines to produce service excellence, such as by sending coal in accordance with the contract in terms of quantity, quality, timing, and completeness of documentation. Maintaining good relationships with customers is also one of the key successes.
5. Conducted a weekly risk assessment to mitigate risks that may arise as a result of exchange rate and price fluctuations, and any disruptions that may impede delivery.
